Pens by DeSign

We make memories into distinctive pens
Special turnings are our specialty
We especially enjoy making pens from nostalgic items to be enjoyed for years to come.
Pens made from the limb of the old childhood tree in the backyard, wood from an old piece of furniture, or from anything can be made into a distinctive writing instrument to be passed down to the generations.
This rollerball pen is a replica of the American flag. It features 50 individually set stars as well as 13 individual white stripes. The pen hardware is Titanium Gold.

These are hedge wood blanks that are ready for assembling. Some have identified this as Osage Orange a wood used by Native Americans to make arrows and bows because of its flexibility. I chose it for its beauty when finished.
Many penturner's have contributed to the Freedom Pen effort. Pens are made of all sorts of material and then they are sent to our servicemen overseas. Last year I made over 100 pens for this effort. To date nearly 60,000 pens have been sent. This batch was made of donated Dupont Corian.
Engraving is a service we offer at an additional fee. These pens were made and donated to the The Professional Air Traffic Controllers Org. PATCO for a fund raiser. I love these guys and I'm proud to call them friends.
This is the pen at the right before assembly and finishing.
We have only put a few of our pens into the products page, however, if you have a specific request for a type of pen, wood, color, size or whatever, we would appreciate it if you would let us know. We have 100's in stock and surely have one that will fit your needs.
